The 54th Academy Awards were broadcast on March 29, 1982 and hosted by Johnny Carson. Sheena Easton was among the performers, belting out "
For Your Eyes Only
" from the film of the same name, which was nominated for Best Original Song, in a most... unusual ... dance number which would not have looked out of place in the Star Wars Holiday Special. Bizarrely camp, with a dancing James Bond (thankfully Roger Moore did not take part), a very uncomfortable looking Richard Kiel as Jaws, and what was probably the last ever appearance of Harold Sakata as Oddjob, It really must be seen to be believed!
